Geppettochat

Geppetto is an AI assistant chatbot that is friendly and can be easily integrated with Slack and Discord. By simply mentioning “@geppetto,” users can ask questions and receive answers directly in the chat. This tool supports both public conversations in channels and private conversations through direct messages. Geppetto is powered by OpenAI’s GPT API, which grants access to a highly advanced AI model.

To use Geppetto, it is not necessary for every user to install the app. Instead, the workspace admin only needs to install it and invite Geppetto to the desired channels. Currently, Geppetto utilizes OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 model, but it aims to support other models in the future. However, users are advised to verify the information provided by Geppetto and not solely rely on its responses.

The usage limits for Geppetto vary depending on the plan. Message limits range from 500 to 5,000 per month. Geppetto retrieves conversations that are mentioned or directly messaged to it, but it does not store any messages unless explicitly shared with the OpenAI API for generating responses.
