Adobe Firefly is a standalone web application that can be accessed at firefly.adobe.com. It provides innovative methods for ideation, creation, and communication, while greatly improving creative workflows through the use of generative AI. Alongside the Firefly web app, Adobe also offers a wider range of creative generative AI models under the Firefly family, as well as features powered by Firefly in their flagship apps and Adobe Stock.
Firefly is an extension of Adobe’s technology developed over the past four decades, with the belief that individuals should have the ability to bring their ideas to life exactly as they envision them.
AI generators like Firefly have the ability to enhance creativity by providing people with new ways to imagine, experiment, and bring their ideas to fruition. What sets Firefly apart is that Adobe intends for it to be more than just an AI text-to-image generator.
As part of Creative Cloud, Firefly is being developed to complement the tools that Adobe creators are already familiar with and love. It will offer text-based editing and generation for various types of media, including still images, videos, and 3D. Additionally, it will provide “creative building blocks” such as brushes, vectors, textures, and more.
